MATTHEW ROBERT HODGES

Matty has arrived. He was born November 9, 2009 weighing 6#3oz and 19 3/4 in long with lots of dark hair. He is beautiful, tiny but perfect. Mommy Sara and Daddy Robby are doing well and you can tell how excited they are to have him here, their smiles and eyes just light up! Gramma and Papa love him. We are blessed to have this sweet baby join our family!

RYLEE'S BIRTHDAY

OFF TO AUSTIN

We just returned from a fun weekend in Austin, spoiling Emma and Rylee! What fun! Angie and I did some serious shopping, both finding some bargains. I am reading for the cruise after buying several shirts and a beautiful outfit for formal night. After shopping for 2 days staight, we had planned to go to the mall on Sat. Rylee informed us that she did not want to shop another day! It was so fun to see them, we hope their house sells soon.

IT'S A BOY!

Robby and Sara are having a baby boy! And Blue is getting a brother. I wonder what he'll think of the baby? We are very excited! I am shopping for boy clothes with airplanes on the shirts.

BEAUTIFUL SUNSET

As we were flying home Sunday evening, we were blessed with a "Kaiya sunset" with gorgeous reds and oranges that we could see from 40,000 ft. and it lasted most of the trip home. When I look at our beautiful world and think of our Baby Kaiya, I do know Heavenly Father must love us alot and I am thankful for the peace that brings to my life.

Here we are in Austin. Yesterday we shopped till we dropped. Today we went to the farmer's market and shopped till we dropped. The girls and I have just had a wonderful weekend.

SURPRISE!

We had the best surprise Sunday. I looked out the window and saw a white car and thought it was Ryan's family. When I opened the door it was Kevin! We had a great weekend visiting. Wed we fly to Austin. It has been way too long since we saw Angie and the girls!

Trip to the Vet
Wednesday was Mollie's vet appointment. They did Xrays and she was cooperative so they did not even have to sedate her. Everything looked good and the plate area is almost healed. We can go for short walks now which she loved, however no ball playing yet. She can swim also. The pool is not quite warm enough for me though. I am going to give her a shower Wed and let her play in the water in the back yard.

Mollie's check up

Today was Mollie's check up with the surgeon, Dr. Tara. They took the last 2 staples out, she had apparently removed the others herself. Mollie is a nurse! She is doing very well and walking and running, but not playing ball yet. She is outside enjoying the beautiful Arizona sunshine.

SURGERY UPDATE

Mollie is doing very well after her surgery last week. She can walk on her newly repaired leg and will get the stitches out next Friday. She really wants to play ball but won't be able to do that for a while yet. The hair is starting to grow back on her leg but her buttie is bare.

Hi Mollie had her knee surgery yesterday and spent the night in the hospital. She is now home and very sleepy with the medications. She is putting a little weight on the leg. She is doing quite well. I'll keep you updated. Love you all, Gramma and Mollie

Good morning We had a visit to the vet yesterday and I blew my knee so I have to go to the surgeon and have an operation to fix it. I spose they will shave by buttie again and put a cast on my leg. I don't like to go to the doctor but I need my leg fixed so I can play ball and run in the yard with my kids. Mom will give me treats and take good care of me. My friend Kathy's doggie Oliver passed away this week. We are sad. Love my family lots! Mollie

We had a wonderful weekend in Austin. I got to go to dance class with Rylee and Emma. We also went to Emma's school Valentine party. Kev and Angie went to San Antonio for some well deserved time together and I got the fun of tending the girls and we made the most of it! We had a great couple of days with a movie, shopping, park, Jason's Deli. I'm lonesome for them now that I am back home and look forward to our next get together.
